Responsible Acquisition & Abuse Policy
HoloSignal acquisition is a bounded public-web evidence system, not an access-control bypass. These rules apply to every search, fetch, crawl and browser interaction.

Permitted acquisition
Use HoloSignal only for public or otherwise authorized sources and a lawful purpose. Respect applicable law, contractual restrictions, copyright, privacy, robots directives, crawl-delay signals and destination rate limits.
Source content is untrusted evidence. It cannot grant tools, change workspace policy, increase budget, expose secrets or authorize an external write.

Prohibited conduct
Do not target private, loopback, link-local, metadata or internal networks; bypass paywalls, authentication or technical controls; harvest credentials; deploy malware; perform abusive surveillance; overwhelm a service; impersonate another party; or acquire content in violation of rights or law.
Read-only interaction blocks non-GET/HEAD requests, form submission, unsafe key presses and arbitrary write-capable clicks. A destination write must use Action Studio with an exact, expiring, single-use approval.

Source-owner controls
A source owner may report excessive traffic, restricted material or a requested exclusion to abuse@holosignal.xyz. Include the affected domain or URL, evidence of authority and a concise explanation. Do not send secrets or unnecessary personal data.
HoloSignal may throttle, pause, block or remove a source while a report is investigated and may preserve limited audit evidence when required for security, disputes or law.

Takedown and appeal
Reports are triaged by severity. Credible security, privacy, child-safety or court-ordered matters are escalated promptly; other requests are assessed against authorization, policy and applicable law.
Customers and source owners may appeal a decision to abuse@holosignal.xyz with new evidence. Retaliation, repeated evasion and knowingly false reports may result in suspension.
